Ken Lozano joined Westlake in November 1999. He currently serves
as Vice President of Human Resources, overseeing all aspects
of the HR Department, including (but not limited to) personnel,
compensation, benefits, corporate policy, staffing and
development, recognition programs, and regulatory
compliance. “Our focus is to ensure that Westlake’s core
values of People, Purpose, and Passion are integrated
into every aspect of what we do in HR,” he explains.
Mr. Lozano brings extensive knowledge and
experience to Westlake. He received his bachelor’s
degree at Whittier College in 1986 and his master’s
degree from University of Phoenix in 1998.
Prior to joining Westlake, Mr. Lozano spent 14
years in the financial services industry with
ITT Financial and Avco Financial. Some of his roles
included branch manager, credit manager,
regional manager, foreclosure specialist, and
loss recovery manager.
“All of these roles have assisted me in my
current role today,” says Mr. Lozano. “I was
able to gain insight on many different jobs
and departments, thus I can better understand
what employees go through on a daily basis.”
