Timo Saarela joined the Westlake team in April 2008. He currently
serves as Vice President of Servicing, overseeing all aspects of account
servicing and collections. Before joining Westlake, Mr. Saarela was
Associate Director of Customer Service at Fireside Bank from
2000 - 2008 and held various Collection Management positions
at WFS Financial from 1995 - 2000.
After studying Economics at the University of Tampere, Finland,
Mr. Saarela studied Economics at Chapman College in Orange,
California. He joined Bank of America in 1990 for his first job
in the United States and has been working in account
servicing and collections ever since with various banks
and financial institutions.
Mr. Saarela sees the future of Westlake marked by
steady growth and financial stability despite challenging
market conditions.
