Buy Program Structure
Once a dealer joins Westlake, they gain access to our powerful Buy Program™ software. It can be accessed online via Nowcom's Dealer Center® website or as a stand-alone software installed as part of Nowcom's Dealer Desktop® DMS software. Additionally, dealerships using the RouteOne® platform can choose Westlake as an option and have their application passed directly to the Westlake Buy Program®.

The software gives Franchise dealers a level of control not available anywhere else, including most major banks. No more waiting for call backs or hash backs.  Now the finance manager can make automatic approvals on their own and roll the deal with the customer still on the lot.

The finance manager can manually input a customer’s credit information into the Buy Program™ along with the vehicle information (the software “reads” the credit report and enters this information automatically if the credit report is run through us). Then, all the finance manager has to do is manipulate the car price, loan term, and customer down payment to get an instant approval. As long as the bottom of the screen blinks “Yes” to the deal structure and “Yes” to the amount financed, the deal is approved! That’s why Westlake is known as the “Yes! Yes! Lender”™

The great thing about our program is that everything is done electronically using our patented software, and all three programs are built right in. When the finance manager starts a new deal, our Buy Program™ automatically evaluates it and places it in the proper finance program: Platinum first, then Preferred, and finally our flagship Standard program (giving tips along the way, i.e., “Ask the customer for $500 more down payment to make this a Preferred deal with lower APR and discount!”). We call this automatic tier-filtering “the waterfall effectSM” ” and it’s designed to help finance managers structure the smartest and most profitable deal benefitting both the dealership and the customer.
  • For tough-to-finance customers, our Standard program provides dealerships with maximum flexibility:
    • No age or mileage limits on vehicles
    • No minimum customer income requirements
    • No minimum FICO score

  • Our Preferred program is perfect for customers with blemished, but established, credit-history:
    • No minimum FICO score
    • No Open "Derogs"
    • BK is OK

  • The Platinum program offers better-credit customers with competitive rates and dealerships with lower discounts and less “stips” to collect:
    • APR's as low as 13.5%
    • Minimum 635 FICO
    • 1 Repo is OK
Don’t forget, just because a dealer may be a big franchise, doesn’t mean they still don’t get personalized Westlake service and support. Westlake representatives are just as comfortable in a large franchise setting as they are in smaller independent stores.
