Lowell Sandell

Lowell Sandell is Vice President of Legal at Westlake Financial Services and General Counsel of Westlake Portfolio Management, LLC. Lowell started as Westlake in 2012 in Treasury and transitioned into Legal in 2014. His current responsibility is to manage Westlake’s transactional activities, with a core focus on commercial lines of credit, third-party service agreements, investments in strategic partners, and various reporting, vendor, and regulatory aspects of the foregoing.

Prior to joining Westlake, Lowell worked in various finance roles, including risk management, brokerage, and energy trade.

Lowell received his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, with majors in economics, finance, and management information systems. He later earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. While working at Westlake, he received a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Lowell is licensed to practice law in California and Texas.
